Who We Are

Trusted in

We operate a nationwide fleet of purpose-built mobile fuel drain units. Our technicians are SPA (Safety Pass Alliance) certified, fully insured, and authorised to work safely on petrol station forecourts — which are classified as hazardous zones.

All extracted fuel is carried in UN-certified onboard tanks and taken to a licensed recycling facility. We don't cut corners — every job is done to the highest professional standard.

The Service

Professional in - Process Details

Why Professional Equipment Matters

Household siphon tubes and pump kits cannot achieve full tank evacuation — they leave 5–15% of contaminated fuel behind, which is enough to cause ongoing damage. Our professional non-sparking extraction pumps achieve 99%+ fuel removal, making subsequent system operation safe.

Furthermore, our equipment complies with ATEX (explosive atmosphere) regulations, making it safe to operate in the hazardous zone directly around petrol station fuel pumps — something DIY equipment cannot claim.

FAQs

Common Questions

Why not just use a siphon from a hardware store?expand_more
Consumer siphon kits achieve 80–90% tank removal at best, and they are not certified for use in explosive atmospheres (ATEX). Our professional equipment achieves 99%+ extraction and complies fully with forecourt safety standards. The remaining contamination from a DIY siphon can still cause ongoing engine damage.
Do you drain at petrol stations as well as roadside?expand_more
Yes. Our technicians hold SPA Petrol Retail Passports, which officially certify them to work safely on forecourts. We routinely perform drains at busy petrol stations across the UK. The forecourt manager simply needs to isolate the pump bay while we work — a process we coordinate directly.
How is the contaminated fuel disposed of?expand_more
We carry UN-certified hazardous goods tanks on our mobile units. All extracted fuel is transported under our Environment Agency waste carrier licence to a licensed recycling facility where it is repurposed as industrial fuel. We provide a waste transfer note on request.
How long does the service take?expand_more
For a standard car where the engine was not started, the entire drain, flush and re-prime typically takes 30–45 minutes from our arrival. Vans and HGVs with larger tanks may take slightly longer. We'll confirm an estimated job time during the initial call.
Do you add new fuel after the drain?expand_more
Yes — after the full drain and flush we add enough correct fuel to fully prime the fuel system and allow the engine to start and run normally. We confirm the engine is running correctly before leaving. You can then top up at your nearest petrol station as normal.
